Merry Christmas, Starshine Preschool staff, children, and parents!

It is with great pleasure that I am sharing the good news that Katie Danner has been hired to be the next Director of Starshine Preschool. She will continue the tradition of offering a high quality Christian based preschool to families with children from 2 years old through pre-k. Starshine hours are Tuesday – Thursday, 9:30 – 2:30. This past year we had 29 students and 6 on staff.

Katie graduated from Blue Springs high School. She received her teaching degree from Northwest Missouri State University in Maryville. After graduation she taught for 8 years in the Independence School District.
Katie has been married to Zack for 16 years. They have two daughters, Ella (6.5 years old) and Brynlee who just turned 3.

Katie’s interests are spending time with family, baking with her girls, playing board/card games, anything that involves organizing and planning, traveling and swimming with the family.

Join us in welcoming Katie as the newest member of the Starshine Preschool Ministry Team.
