Are you watching our Monday Coffee Hour Blessings podcast with Sue Shineman and Deborah Abbott? Last Monday, Sue shared a quote that really resonated with me. Desmond Tutu said: “We worshiped Jesus instead of following him on his same path.” I bet that struck a chord with many of you as well.
Game Changer
I admire Max Lucado, as do many others. His writing and speaking style capture me, especially his interpretations of scriptures like Galatians 2:20 and Colossians 1:27. He speaks of Christ living within us! That’s a game changer! It means every choice we make, every word we say, can be filled with a little more love and a little more grace – just like Jesus.
Here’s the really exciting news: our Outreach Team is launching some amazing projects. Our Worship Team, Choir, and our Bell Choir is rehearsing hard to add to our worship experience.
We’re talking about leaving our comfort zones behind to truly impact our community. Imagine hands-on service, addressing real needs, singing, leading worship, and spreading an abundance of kindness and love. I’m inviting YOU to join us. Whether you’re the type to work quietly behind the scenes or someone who shines in the spotlight, there’s a place for you. Let’s show our community what living out our faith really looks like.
So, are you ready to put your faith into action and enjoy some fellowship along the way? Let’s tackle this together! That’s a game changer!
With my prayers,
Pastor Lydia.
